The roster of activity includes rehearsing with a band of other participants, a coaching session with professional musicians, playing live on stage, recording the performance for a take-home CD, and berating roadies. Like lounging by a hotel pool, workshops are a great way to get feet and picks wet with the opportunity to be part of a group that works hands-on with the instructors.
