Nordstock Music Festival: Canada’s Celebration to Woodstock 69
Coinciding with the 50th Anniversary of the Woodstock Festival, the Nordstock Festival whisks concertgoers away to the summer of ‘69 when peace, love, and a whole lot of music ruled supreme. The three-day festival at Lansdowne Park celebrates and recreates the Woodstock era with an abundance of beads, flowers, and hippies. Food trucks, snacks, and drinks will be on site for festival goers to refuel after listening to setlists by tribute bands who deliver spot-on renditions of the original music heard at Woodstock in 1969.

Day 1 Lineup – Friday, August 9

Headliner: Persuasion – Santana Tribute: Seven musicians gather together to put on a spectacular rendition of Santana’s first three albums with reverberating guitar riffs and percussion.
Other tribute acts: Rum Fit Mosey – Woodstock ‘69 Hit List |Joan Baez – Tribute by Josée Brault | Down N’ Dirty: A Tribute to Johnny Winter | Janis Joplin – The Janis Joplin Story
Day 2 Lineup – Saturday, August 10

Headliner – The Wholigans – Formed in 1982, the Wholigans march on with time but their music stays true to “The Who” form with authentic costumes and equipment to capture the unadulterated fervor of the daring trio.
