Parc Omega celebrates the diversity of Canada’s fauna by giving visitors the opportunity to see some of the country’s most majestic creatures firsthand. Roughly divided by biome, the park includes areas dedicated to recreating the habitats found throughout Canada’s prairies, mountains, lakes, and boreal forests. Amid those picturesque settings, guests can spot caribou, arctic wolves, black bears, deer, and wild boar as they drive along the 17-kilometre car path or meander down one of several walking trails.

The park remains open year-round, offering seasonal activities in addition to self-guided tours. Snowshoeing excursions, for example, are available during the winter. Guests can explore the first nation walking trail and learn about the 12 First Nations of Québec or visit the park’s historic recreation of an 1847 farmstead in the summer. The changing seasons don’t stop the activities either, with visitors getting the chance to get up close and personal with animals—by hand-feeding elk or fallow, red, or white-tailed deer—any time of year.
