All options include a print release for the images, which can be of different poses. The maternity-and-newborn package consists of two separate sessions, a one-hour maternity shoot, ideally between weeks 32–36 of pregnancy, and a three-hour newborn-baby shoot.

Families are usually the focal point of photographer Brandy Duke’s lens. As a mother of two herself, she understands the joy and importance of having a family, maternity, or newborn photo shoot. She prefers to hold her sessions at clients’ homes, and always uses natural light if the sun isn’t using clouds to hide from that bully, the moon. These techniques help to curb her subjects’ anxieties and add a warm tone to her mix of black-and-white and highly saturated colour images.
