Chandeliers cast soft light over the white-clothed tables of Yazmin Restaurant, where traditional Somali dishes meet Canadian fare. In the kitchen, dexterous chefs switch between the two cuisines, following platters of poutine and burgers with suqaar beef and chicken paired with traditional Somali bread.
