  1. After purchasing a Make Over Voucher worth 240$ and I did not even receive the entire voucher details. There was Virtual Make Over with print outs which was the main reason why I purchased this coupon to start with. Did not virtually try anything and needed to wait 30 minutes or so with no ideas or concepts before applying it. Did not choose the hairstyle wanted and the hairdresser couldn’t complete it’s job without the help of the client. On top, there was another 80$ charge for completing the hair cut.

Why offer a discount that you cannot fulfill and will intensionally over charge you and the end of the make over.

A complete waste of money and useless discounts. Do not spend a dime on this scammer pretending artist that does not complete what they offers.

Waste of time and money… don’t waste your money!

    1. I agree!! That wasn’t only the worst hair experience I’ve ever had, I think it may have been the worst experience I’ve ever had doing anything. It was terrible!! The place was disgusting. The bathroom had no sink. Yes, you read that correctly – there was no sink in the bathroom. Just think that through. There was a ratty little dog in the corner, cut hair all over the floor and dirty dishes strewn about – it looked like they never clean up. But then, how could they when they don’t seem to employ anyone to clean, and they are ridiculously overbooked? I had tried to organize a group of 6 people to go and get the virtual makeover + colour + cut package. I had numerous phone conversations with Shonn, trying to ensure that he could actually accomodate all 6 of us, and determining how the schedule would work. He guaranteed that everything would be fine. However, when we arrived, the place was already full of clients – even though it appeared that there were just 2 hairstylists, Shonn and one other person. At an hour and 15 minutes into our appointment, only 2 of the 6 had even been started. When I asked Shonn if there was any way to speed things up, he not only failed to apologize for the delay, he failed to acknowledge it and was quite rude to me. As if I was making up the fact that so much time had passed and we were all just standing there. Yes, we were standing – there were no chairs. There were so many people crammed in the tiny room, that most of us just stood around for hours.

We didn’t all get our full packages. I left with a colour, but no cut/style. My friend had just a wash and trim. Most of us didn’t get the virtual makeover – which is the only reason we risked trying this terrible little place. In fact, even though he never mentioned it in our phone conversations, apparently the virtual makeover was not really offered anymore. Shonn waited until we got there, and just didn’t mention it (I guess hoping that we’d forget). When I asked for it, he begrudgingly allowed me to just bend over and let his laptop camera take a picture of my face, and then used a program that seemed even less useful than the Barbie makeover I’ve seen my little niece use – where you just place different types of hair on your head. He put so little effort into it that the orientation of my head wasn’t right (I was bending over to look at the camera), and the size of the hair was so different from the picture of my head that it all just looked ridiculous.

After I had been waiting for over 3 hours, Shonn told me that it was finally time for a haircut. But, when I sat in the chair – he was nowhere to be found. A few minutes later, he came back eating a giant sandwich or burger or something that just reeked of onions. Of course he needs to eat – but then why cram so many clients in that you can’t take a proper break? However, the worst part was that he came in, and put the sandwich down, but didn’t wash his hands (I’m not sure where he would have washed them, given that there was no sink in the bathroom…I guess in the one sink that they had for washing hair…). Instead, he took the towel off my head, and wiped his hands with it. He was going to start styling my hair with dirty hands, that smelled like onions. So, when I asked if he wanted time to wash his hands before starting – he actually had the nerve to threaten me. He said that I had already been rude to him (I guess when I asked him to try to get our group back on schedule), and told me that if I was going to be rude to him again – he would throw me out. Seriously. So, I decided just to leave, and he seemed completely unsurpirsed (I guess people walk out on him all the time) – but reminded me that I still had to pay. He was honestly one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life.

I almost didn’t pay – but at the end, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. If I had any backbone at all, I would have refused to pay and had this conversation with Shonn rather than cowardly writing reviews on the internet – but I don’t. I barely have the nerve to do this – but I have to warn people. So – DON’T EVER GO THERE – seriously. It’s so terrible…please don’t go – unless you also own a hair salon, and are going to there to rescue Shonn’s employees – because they were all really nice.

And, take a look for the reviews from my friends – luckily, a couple of them actually got the full package (even though one started 3.5 hours after our appointment was supposed to begin) – but the others had terrible experiences as well, so they are likely to be putting those reviews up.
