Receiving shipments of wild and sustainable seafood up to four times a day, Pelican Fishery & Grill’s chef Rob MacDonald leans on locally sourced organic produce to coax flavours from his fresh fish dishes. The lunch and dinner menus present entrees such as the Black’s Harbour salmon ($18 at lunch, $22 at dinner), an olive-oil-poached fillet atop mashed parsnips that sates surf cravings better than dining in a wetsuit. Further options include pan-seared sea scallops, which arrive accompanied by herbed quinoa at lunch ($18) or crisped pork belly at dinner ($27).
