Membership in the one-year basic roadside-assistance program covers commuters whether they are driving or riding in a car, a truck with up to a half-tonne payload, or a hot-dog mobile. Upon receiving the membership package within approximately two weeks of registration, customers are entitled to up to five toll-free emergency roadside-assistance calls and two tows of up to 7.5 kilometres per tow or to the closest garage. On top of all the benefits of the basic plan, family-membership plans tack on a second membership, after which additional memberships are available for the reduced cost of $37 each. Family plans protect membership holders and any registered vehicles they drive or regularly stuff with clowns. Additionally, stranded motorists enjoy access to two tows for distances up to 140 kilometres or to the closest garage or tree house. Extra services for both basic- and family-plan holders include battery boosts, locksmith and lockout assistance, flat-tire changes, and fuel delivery (cost of fuel is extra for basic-plan holders), all performed by vetted contractors distinguished by years of experience and oil-stained superhero capes.
