The Standard Luxury Tavern’s crackerjack culinary team pulls from a variety of contemporary fare to fill the eatery’s menu with burgers, pizzas, and eclectic entrees. Nachos invite dinner parties to pick apart an appetizer passel of chips weighed down by a tasty amalgamation of cheddar, mozzarella, jalapenos and pico de gallo, or guests can ask salt-and-pepper shakers to settle arguments over a choice of five flavours of wings. With an entree of fish ‘n’ chips, fingers dip morsels into tartar sauce and deconstruct stacks of fresh-cut french fries, and a bison burger treats flavour sensors to organic ground sirloin stacked high with caramelized onions and smoked gouda. Of seven pizza choices, the pulled-pork edition is constructed by pizza artisans who paint the dough canvas in tomato sauce before sprinkling it with red onions, mozzarella cheese, and succulent pulled pork. Dark wood panelling, exposed brick walls, and elegant wall sconces stand guard around the dining room’s perimeter, and eating ensembles cozy up inside circular booths or set up their own security detail around less curved eating arrangements to sip potables from an extensive wine, beer and cocktail menu (alcohol is not included with this offer).
